Junior Achievement of Central Iowa
would like to say a big
THANKS
for the afternoon of
volunteer service at our
JA BizTown and exterior projects.
October 5, 2007
(44 hours of human power)
Huge thanks to the AIB students for donating their time to Junior
Achievement!! They accomplished so much that day and it would not
have happened without the great volunteers. They placed 6 ton of
river rock, 6 cubic yards of mulch and pulled weeds right up until
the time that the bus picked them up! The JA property looks
great!
Thanks to Chris Harrison with Weitz, Lans Green with Bob Lenc
Landscaping and Jeff Austin, Mark Miller and Al with Pioneer Hi-Bred
International, Inc. for donating and delivering all of the materials
and tools to get these jobs done!
The AIB student volunteers also labeled and sent out 800 letters,
completed several JA Biz Town binders and assisted with clean up
from the garage sale. Whew!! All of this in 2 ½ hours.
